We’re Hiring!

Social Media Account & Content Manager

Approximately 5–15 hours/week | $20/hour | Remote

Please read the listing and complete the form below. Madeline Rae Collective is a boutique social media agency working with brands in the quilting, sewing, crafting, and creative lifestyle space.

We're looking for a part-time Social Media Account & Content Manager to help manage the day-to-day content and social presence for a handful of client accounts.

This is a great fit for someone who genuinely loves social media, is creative and highly organized, and can take direction and run with it. The flexible, part-time schedule could also be a great fit for a college student looking to gain hands-on experience in social media and content creation.

What You'll Do

  • Plan, write, create, and schedule social content across Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and TikTok

  • Turn client-provided photos, videos, product information, and other assets into engaging social content

  • Work within established brand guides to make sure every client's content looks, sounds, and feels like them

  • Film and edit short-form video content for Reels and TikTok using your phone and app-based editing tools such as Edits or InShot

  • Keep up with comments, DMs, and day-to-day community management for assigned accounts

  • Pay attention to what's performing and flag opportunities for our clients

  • Work with our team in Asana to manage content calendars, deadlines, client assets, and assignments

What We're Looking For

  • You know social media. You understand what works across Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and TikTok and have a feel for current trends and formats.

  • You're a strong writer with a creative eye and can adapt your work to different brand voices and guidelines.

  • You're comfortable filming and editing polished, engaging short-form content on your phone.

  • You're highly organized and self-directed. You can manage multiple clients and deadlines, communicate well, and get things done without constant oversight.

  • You're comfortable learning new tools. We use Asana, Canva, Later, Tailwind, and app-based video editing tools.

  • You're good at going with the flow. Client work naturally ebbs and flows, so you can adjust when workloads and priorities shift.

Agency experience is not required. We're much more interested in your instincts, creativity, dependability, and willingness to learn than a perfectly polished marketing résumé. While this role has potential to grow, it’s a great side-hustle to start with!

Bonus Points

If you quilt, sew, craft, or otherwise love the creative hobby world, we want to hear about it! Understanding this audience and the things they're excited about is a definite plus.

We're also especially interested in applicants based in Utah who could occasionally help with in-person content needs for key clients, though this is not required.

The Details

  • Approximately 5–15 hours per week

  • $20/hour

  • Hours will fluctuate based on client needs, campaigns, and the time of year. Some weeks may be lighter and others busier.

  • Remote with flexible working hours, with some weekday daytime responsiveness required

  • You'll need your own laptop and smartphone; required software subscriptions will be provided

  • You'll sign a simple NDA since you'll have access to client accounts and unreleased client information

Selected candidates will be invited to complete a paid content-production testing period so we can see how we work together before making a final hiring decision.

To Apply

Fill out the form below introducing yourself, sharing any relevant experience or qualifications, and telling us why you think you'd be a great fit for Madeline Rae Collective.

We'll follow up with selected applicants about the paid content-production testing process.
